I’m about 10 days postpartum and my blood pressure is still high. I went to the hospital last night because it was around 155/110 all day. My ob put me on lebatolol (high bp med) and so far I haven’t noticed a difference. Has anyone else’s blood pressure stayed high for a while after delivery? If so, how long did this last? my doc tells me hopefully I’ll be able to come of the meds by my 6 weeks follow up. I’m so worried my blood pressure will never regulate on its own again. I’m also breast feeding so I feel real guilty about this drug getting into their bodies. Does anyone have experience with this postpartum high blood pressure?
