when to travel to siargao island

Siargao island has a dry season and a wet season. the dry season is between march to the end of november. the wet season is between december to march, it is more likely to rain but can also be more cool and be beautiful with less crowd.

How to get to siargao

Best option : By Air from Cebu or manila to Siargao Island.
Cebu Pacific www.cebupacificair.com offers daily direct flights from Cebu to Siargao island (sayak airport) or manila to siargao island via Cebu.

Option 2 : (longer travel) if the siargao flight is full.

Fly from Cebu or manila to Surigao City  daily with cebu pacific or pal express then ride a ferry from surigao port to dapa port at siargao island (2.5 hour ride).

From Cebu BY SEA via Surigao city :

COKALIONG Shipping Lines – offers daily service from Cebu to Surigao except Sundays. This overnight ferry leaves from Pier 1 and departs Cebu at 7PM and arrives Surigao City in the morning at 6:00AM from surigao city to siargao several morning ferries are available.
